Premium Members Can Get The DLC Two Weeks Early
The expansion – one of the five expansions due to launch for Battlefield 4 – introduces four maps across“the vast and majestic Chinese mainland” as well as new weapons and vehicles. The pack will also become available to gamers who pre-ordered Battlefield 4 through certain participating retail stores, although it's not clear yet when these users will be able to access the additional content. Non-Premium members can purchase the DLC two weeks after the Premium launch.
China Rising will be the second expansion pack released onto the first person shooter. Battlefield 4: Second Assault, which will contain four of the most popular maps from Battlefield 3, is scheduled to release on Xbox One on 22nd November.
Battlefield 4 is available to buy on current-gen consoles and PC from today in North America. Gamers in Japan and Australia can get their hands on a copy tomorrow, whilst those in the EU will have to wait until Thursday. The game will be available at launch on next-gen consoles.
